How My 3 Week Design Process Works
This process is designed to feel supportive, not overwhelming.
We’ll move carefully and intentionally, focusing on what matters most; clarity, accessibility, and alignment while keeping things simple and manageable for you.

Once you have filled out my application form, we will have a relaxed, no pressure call to chat through your business and website requirements.
I will then put together a custom proposal, suggested 3 week design slot and share an overview of what will be included in the project.
If you’re happy to go ahead, I will share a contract and deposit invoice for you to book your project

I will share a client questionnaire for you to complete which will cover the goals of the website, your required functionality and design preferences.
From this, I will create a website strategy, and perform keyword and market research to ensure we optimise each page for your ideal customers.

You will receive access to your client portal where you will be able to upload content and elements for your website such as branding, text and images.
I will also share a content planning guide, which will help you to write the content for each page.

This is where things get really fun!
I will start with setting up the homepage and share with you for initial feedback.
Based on that feedback, I will refine the homepage and set up the other pages for you to review a full first draft.

Your feedback from the first draft will enable me to refine the design and website build to make sure it is perfect for you.
All I ask from you is to provide timely feedback to ensure we keep on track with timelines.

Then we can launch!
Once you are happy with how your website looks, and we have completed a final thorough quality check we will be ready to launch it to the world.
I will provide a launch guide with tips on what to do next, and personalised video tutorials showing you how to make edits and updates.
I will also be around for 1 month after launch to provide any post-launch support.

I primarily design websites on Squarespace due to the user friendly nature of the platform and built in features. However, if you have your heart set on Wordpress or are looking for a refresh on your Wordpress website, I can definitely help!

Once you have agreed your package and signed our contract, you will receive an invoice for your 50% deposit. Then, when the project is complete you will receive an invoice for the remaining 50%.

Yes! I am based in the UK, but work with clients all over the world. All I ask is for mindfulness around timezones, but we can certainly make it work

My process is specifically designed to be easy and stress free for you. That means I will talk you through each stage clearly and help you prepare everything. After we launch, I will be share a guide and video tutorials showing you exactly how to make any edits you need.
This is another reason I love using Squarespace, it’s user friendly platform is ideal for people who don’t want to get weighed down on the technical side of websites.

Once we have scheduled our project, I will provide you with exactly what I need from you and how to prepare.
This includes a client and design questionnaire, access to your own Client Portal, space to upload your images and brand assets and a content workbook to help you with writing the content for your website.

I do ask that you have an idea around your branding and logo design ready.
I also do not provide full copywriting, however, I can help you with ensuring that any of the content you provide is optimised for search engines and easy for websites visitors to read.

Yes, light copy editing and support is included in most packages. I won’t leave you staring at a blank page!
If you provide your notes, ideas, or rough drafts, I’ll polish them so they’re clear, kind, and client-friendly. -
Yes! Every build or refresh includes SEO foundations; like proper headings, keyword-friendly structure, mobile responsiveness, and metadata.

Yes, after launch I will provide you with video guides so you are able to update your website when needed.
